The Ateneo de Manila University, in partnership with the Institute for Maritime and Ocean Affairs, launched a cartographic exhibit  on “Historical Truths and Lies: Scarborough Shoal in Ancient Maps “featuring copies of ancient maps of China and the Philippines on February 5, 2015. The exhibit is based on the lecture on Supreme Court Justice Antonio Carpio, who also graced the event.

The exhibit has more than 60 map illustrations by Western and local cartographers showing Scarborough Shoal as part of the Philippines. The maps are on display at the Pardo de Tavera Exhibit Hall, Special Collection Building of Rizal Library from February 5-28, 2015.
