WARPATH: China said Australia was ideal for its first strike
Slamming the Aussies’ decision to take America’s side in a territorial dispute, China lashed out at its neighbour.

In an article for the state-run Global Times paper, Australia was mocked for its “inglorious history” as an “offshore prison of the UK”.

The editorial then described the country as one “established through uncivilised means in a process filled with the tears of the aboriginals.”

And it warned that if Australia doesn’t butt out, “China must take revenge and let it know it’s wrong” because the commonwealth nation makes an “ideal target”.

It’s the latest fallout from the South China Sea dispute, after an international tribunal dismissed Beijing’s claims to swathes of disputed territory.

Australia supported the decision of the court, but China has dismissed it and pledged to use “all necessary measures” defending its claim.

Some citizens are already demanding war because of the decision and violent protests have since targeted American businesses in China.
