The 1Sambayan coalition has issued a statement expressing its unwavering support for Defense Secretary Gilberto “Gibo” Teodoro Jr. following the sanctions imposed against him by the Chinese government.

In its statement, the coalition described the sanctions as an attempt to intimidate a Philippine official who has consistently defended the country’s sovereignty and sovereign rights.
